WTH Endorses Mo Brooks (R) in AL-05 Primary

On Tuesday, March 13, 2012 the voters of Alabama will take the next step in shaping the 113th Congress when they vote in the Congressional primaries. Incumbent Mo Brooks (R) seeks re-election to a second term in Alabama’s 5th House of Representatives district where he is challenged by former Congressman Parker Griffith (R).

Rep. Brooks is a moderate Republican and the first Representative from the 5th district to serve on the House Armed Forces Committee. He has opposed increases in the debt ceiling and supports the House Cut, Cap, and Balance budget bill that is being debated in Senate. In addition, he has advocated in the bipartisan effort for more government re-investment in NASA. Despite this leadership, Rep. Brooks has taken less special interest money than anyone in Alabama. For these reasons, WTH endorses Mo Brooks for Congress from Alabama.

Upcoming Elections in Alabama, Mississippi, Illinois, Maryland, and Texas in the next 30 days. Please vote to restore our democracy!
